Website Development on New CMS to Assist with Web Portals
Cambium Assessment is a leading provider of online assessments for students across America. Their continuum of capabilities and services has enabled numerous states and education consortia to transition from paper-pencil testing and into online-assessment systems almost instantaneously.
Cambium Assessment was in need of a stand-alone corporate website on a new Content Management System (CMS). They needed a new hosted web portal for their 30+ educational clients around the country which would act as a homepage and informational site for the client’s testing programs. On testing days, millions of school children all login at the same time each day.
Cambium Assessment came to Americaneagle.com for a number of web development, redesign, and hosting services. The goal was to implement a new Sitecore CMS system for both the client facing and corporate portals with the corporate portals being executed in a multi-phased approach.
This first phase covered the implementation of the corporate site, which was completed in only 2 months. Americaneagle.com began with a foundational strategy and functional requirements assessment, which was necessary with the complexity of the website and third-party responsibilities. Following this was the design and user experience journey along with a variety of delivery offerings. The team also arranged a content migration process with a new file structure to be imported into the Sitecore platform.
Based on the success of this phase, Americaneagle.com’s team will initiate additional phases to design, buildout, and deploy the client portals.
