Accessibility Statement

Our Goals

We value each visitor to our website and strive to give everyone a positive experience where all can participate and learn about our company. To help ensure the site is accessible to a wide variety of visitors, we strive to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level A and AA criteria, and do our best to meet AAA guidelines whenever possible. These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.

Measures to Support Accessibility

Americaneagle.com takes the following steps to provide easy access for all to our online content:

  • Content creators, designers, and developers integrate accessibility into all phases of site creation.
  • We connect with third-party vendors and platforms to provide feedback and push for accessibility improvements.
  • Our dedicated accessibility team drives initiatives and provides employee training.
  • We employ ongoing third-party automated checks and internal manual assessments by certified specialists.

Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology

The Americaneagle.com site has been designed to work with and tested for many popular assistive technologies, including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver on iOS.  We also design for the last two versions of each major browser, including Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.  Older browsers and assistive technology may not display content as effectively.

Feedback

While we take all reasonable steps to provide a welcoming experience for everyone, we understand that there may be issues that arise from time to time. While we are continuously working towards maintaining our goal of Level AA accessibility, we also realize there are always opportunities to improve.
