Challenges

ABC sought an experienced partner to elevate its digital presence and drive increased traffic and conversion rates. The company's existing website was outdated and lacked the modern features necessary to support its growing customer base and service offerings. ABC required a robust content management system (CMS) to streamline updates, enhance SEO performance, and improve user experience. The website development and digital marketing company chose Xperience by Kentico, a hybrid-headless digital experience platform, as the foundation for the new website. This marked Americaneagle.com’s first live implementation on the new Kentico product and one of the first 20 completed globally. 

The project involved multiple phases, including a full technical audit, sitemap reorganization, design concepts, and rigorous testing. A meticulously reorganized sitemap was developed to enhance connections between service area sites and individual services offered by ABC, integrating related content to ensure streamlined navigation for users. An innovative location-specific cookie was implemented to redirect returning users to their appropriate regional website based on previous zip code entries, significantly enhancing the user experience through personalized site navigation. The new website also boasts new integrations for effortless booking, enabling users to book services online with just a few clicks. Additionally, the development process adhered to ADA best practices, ensuring accessibility through compliance testing. 

Collaboration with Americaneagle.com’s digital marketing team was crucial in maintaining and enhancing ABC’s SEO efficacy. Efforts included ensuring all SEO elements from the old site were seamlessly transferred and improved upon in the new sites’ structure and content. Robust local SEO optimization addressed indexation and technical SEO issues specific to the Illinois and Florida sites, embedding Google Business Listings (GBLs) into key service pages, and conducting thorough competitor analysis. 

The launch of the new ABC website marked a significant milestone, reflecting its commitment to service excellence and digital innovation. The reorganized sitemap, personalized navigation, and seamless online booking have significantly enhanced user experience. Robust local SEO efforts have led to a noticeable uplift in the average ranking position of “plumber + city name” pages.
