St. John Fisher School
Website Overhaul Proves Successful by Increasing Accessibility
St. John Fisher School, first opened its doors to the community in 1950, although the parish was originally founded in 1948 and housed 2,100 families. Since its inception the school has grown to be the largest Catholic school enrollment in the city of Chicago. Coming to the realization that their website no longer supported such a large student population it was time to overhaul their website. Americaneagle.com developed the new site on the iDev Content Management System (CMS), a robust web platform that allows users to create new pages, upload images, and manage news and events. In addition, the site features a responsive design allowing mobile and tablet users access to the site with the touch of a finger. The new site now offers users an intelligent UI & UX experience, and access to pertinent documentation as well as teacher blogs.
