Lake County Forest Preserves
New Site Loaded with Features to Enhance Visitor Experience
The Lake County Forest Preserve District was created in 1958 to protect large natural areas and provide passive recreation. They protect more than 30,100 acres and are the second largest Forest Preserve District in Illinois. In 2011 the Lake County Forest Preserve District partnered with Americaneagle.com for the redesign of their website. The new website is not only easy to maintain, due to the implementation of the idev Content Management System (CMS), but also incredibly easy to navigate and information. The LCFPD website is loaded with features to enhance visitor experience such as advanced flyout navigation, a section for donations, forms, photo galleries, and much more
