Hanover Bank serves both individuals and business clients, with 10 branch locations across Long Island, the greater New York metropolitan area, and Freehold, New Jersey. Founded in 2009, the bank has approximately $2.3 billion in assets and provides first-class banking services with a community-centric and value-driven approach.
Challenges
Hanover Bank’s old website had become a bit clunky and difficult to manage. It was time for a redesign. Bank leaders wanted to make sure the new site was future-proof and better aligned with their organizational structure. They have a small marketing team of two who needed greater flexibility and a more user-friendly way to edit pages and execute campaigns. In other words, they needed a powerful, dynamic site that was also easy to manage. Additionally, Hanover Bank wanted help refreshing their logo and creating new copy for high-value pages across the site.
Solutions
Americaneagle.com redesigned Hanover Bank’s website to be more intuitive for users and easier for non-technical employees to manage. We condensed the available menu items and moved navigation from a lefthand sidebar to the top of the page, creating a cleaner, more modern look that is easier for users to navigate. On the backend, we developed the WordPress site to be more flexible, allowing their team of two to make content updates and run marketing efforts without relying on external support.
The website redesign project also presented an opportunity to modernize the bank’s brand identity. We created a new logo and designed the site to incorporate the brand’s colors more prominently. The updated logo and modernized visual identity both helped to strengthen brand recognition among local audiences.
