Coffee Masters had outgrown its legacy website platform and was in need of a sophisticated ecommerce solution that could best serve their growing gourmet coffee business.

Coffee Masters has advanced their operational efficiencies within their new BigCommerce environment in many key ways.

Variable pricing rules across the entire Coffee Master product catalog have proven to be very beneficial. When a buyer is logged in to the new website, they see their individualized, hard-coded pricing, current promotions, and pricing discounts in real time. This customized experience has provided added confidence and satisfaction within each buyers’ personalized digital shopping sessions and checkout.

If a Coffee Masters sales representative is helping a client one-on-one, they are now able to masquerade as that buyer within BigCommerce and see the catalog exactly as the buyer sees it. They can even shop alongside them, virtually, and walk them through their purchase with the payment information hidden for client privacy. This has provided an extra level of personalized service that has added significant value within their customer relationships.

Marketing engagement to consistently get buyers to the website has improved with as well. Email campaign management is now empowered by a plug-and-play BigCommerce connector to Constant Contact. The BigCommerce promo editor provides a very intuitive step-by-step wizard that guides the editor through sophisticated email promotion options. There are also some common promos that are preloaded, such as buy-one-get-one-free, that add additional efficiencies in engaging specific Coffee Masters buyers or buying groups.

Acumatica, a popularly-used ERP, has developed an easy-to-use connector with BigCommerce. This connector dependably synchronizes the two platform’s product data and resources. Acumatica is the product data source-of-truth for Coffee Masters and is relied on to serve up-to-date product descriptions, image assets, inventory, and more to website shoppers.

Integration with Shipper HQ has provided the ability to efficiently support complex shipping logic. Smart rules within this integration select the best shipping options to serve order quantity, urgency, weight, delivery location, and more. For customers who are near shipping locations, the solution even considers local delivery options.
