United Auto Insurance

Removal of Mobile Pages Moved to Focus on New Responsive Layout and Being Mobile First

For over 50 years, United Auto Insurance has been saving Chicagoans money with top quality insurance at the lowest possible prices.

The United Auto Insurance website was in need of an overall graphic refresh with a special attention to improving the user-experience within the quoting process and the My account/Make a payment process. Americaneagle.com removed the mobile pages and focused our new responsive layout on being mobile first. For many years, United Auto Insurance focused primarily within the Chicago area, but we also made changes to account for their expansion to other markets around the U.S.

Americaneagle.com began the project off with a Foundational strategy to help our team and the UAI team take a step back to evaluate the current condition of the site/analytics and evaluated every possible way we could improve the website for the various user groups. This process was extremely beneficial with setting us up for success during this project.

Since the Quoting system and the Customer Portal system are on third party URLs, we created graphic skins for these sites so that a user never feels like they are leaving the main UAI website.
