Americaneagle.com Launches New Web Presence for the United Center

PARK RIDGE, Il., April 24, 2007 — Americaneagle.com, a leading Website design, development, and hosting company based in Park Ridge, IL today announced the launch of the United Center Website located at www.UnitedCenter.com. The United Center, home to the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bulls, is the premier Sports and Entertainment venue in the United States.

The United Center site was completely overhauled to enhance the overall look and feel and improve user-friendliness. A new navigation system and clean homepage layout were introduced to allow users to quickly locate the information that they need. "One of our primary goals was to keep the site simple yet elegant so as to allow users quick access to whatever information they seek," said Jeff Eberwein, CIO for the United Center. Indeed, news feeds were integrated within the homepage, enabling visitors to access recent sports news articles for Chicago's home teams. As a representation of the venue's energy and excitement, a Flash header was implemented throughout the site. This interactive component includes several rotating images, which can be easily updated and changed through the United Center's new Content Management System. What's more, each header image can be designated to a specific section of the site. For example, when within the Chicago Blackhawks section of the site, only Blackhawk-related images will appear in the header.

As an added interactive feature, visitors of the site can view virtual tours of the United Center. These QuickTime-enabled tours offer visitors the opportunity to explore all points of interest within the United Center that they may not have otherwise been able to see, such as views of center court or center ice and exclusive suites that the United Center offers.

Visitors who currently access the Internet from their mobile devices may now also take advantage of the United Center's new wireless Website. By going to www.UnitedCenter.com/Wireless, visitors can view the most important information from the site, directly from their Web-enabled PDA, Blackberry, or cell phone. The wireless Website contains popular information such as: event and ticket information, seating maps, directions, parking information, and more.

In addition to website design and website development, Americaneagle.com is hosting the site and providing maintenance services. Michael Svanascini, Chief Operating Officer of Americaneagle.com said, "We were very excited to add a hometown venue to our portfolio of clients. We look forward to working with the United Center for a long time."

Americaneagle.com will continue working closely with the United Center to add even more enhancements to the site such as an interactive seating chart and "statue cams". "With the help of Americaneagle.com, we will continue to focus on usability and features that make the site easy to use while keeping it fresh and interesting — every single time someone visits the site," said Jeff Eberwein.
