Americaneagle.com Wins Three WebAwards

Des Plaines, IL- Americaneagle.com is proud to announce that it has been awarded three WebAwards by the Web Marketing Association. Chicago Water Taxi ( www.chicagowatertaxi.com) and The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons ( www.buildingorthopaedics.org) have received a Standard of Excellence Award and The Steve Dahl Network ( www.dahl.com) has won a Best of Industry Award, one of the highest achievements.

Now, we don’t put this out to toot our own horn, although we’re not totally against it! What we do want to get across is that we’re proud of our customers, our staff, our experience, and our expertise in winning these awards from the Web Marketing Association. This is the longest running annual website award competition dedicated to naming the best websites in 96 industries, while recognizing the people and organizations responsible for developing some of the most effective and best websites on the Internet today. We strive for excellence in every online project in which we’re involved, and we are happy to share when that hard work is recognized by a well-respected outside organization such as the Web Marketing Association. 

Now, on to those special clients of ours and their respective stories!

Steve Dahl has been entertaining the public for over 40 years. Steve is called the "Founder of Modern FM Talk Radio" for a reason. Since August 2011, Steve has offered six weekly 90 minutes shows via a subscription –based podcast. In 2013 the Steve Dhal Network came to Americaneagle.com to redevelop their existing site. This was a great opportunity for the Steve Dahl Network to set the standard and be the modern day transmitter for online radio shows in a network format.  From the talent that is already collected, to the future opportunities to use this model with other radio personalities and market segments, the Steve Dahl Network is headed in a very exciting direction, and we’re happy to call his organization a customer.

Chicago Water Taxi is a family owned business that provides commuter services on the Chicago River. Chicago Water Taxi came to Americanagle.com to redesign their site with the goal of introducing new and improved features such as incorporating Trip Planner using Google Transit, and to provide locations of taxi stops along with attractions and promotions located near the stops. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons is undertaking an unprecedented fundraising campaign. Their goal is to raise a minimum of $7 million in philanthropic and corporate sponsorship funds to help build a new Orthopaedic Learning Center (OLC) and a new Orthopaedic Headquarters Building (OHB) in Rosemont, Illinois. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons came to Americaneagle.com to help develop a website to promote their fundraising and build awareness of the new headquarters facility and learning center. This new online presence was designed to take advantage of new and emerging technologies and to provide an overview of the facility to members and allied healthcare professionals.

Americaneagle.com is extremely grateful and proud to be honored with these prestigious WebAwards on behalf of the Steve Dahl Network, Chicago Water Taxi and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. The joint effort necessary for this successful outcome is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration both teams displayed throughout each respective project.
