Queenie's Supper Club & Cocktails is a new restaurant attached to the United Center, built in honor of the Wirtz family Matriarch, Virginia. Virginia Wirtz was the wife of Arthur Wirtz, forefather of the United Center and the Chicago Blackhawks. Virginia frequently entertained dignitaries and host guests in the Sonja Hennie Room and Governor's Room before and during Blackhawks games. She was a significant influence on the business operations of the Wirtz Family's many businesses. While Arthur enjoyed the role of "King" of these various businesses, he extended the analogy to Virginia, nicknaming her "Queenie."
