American Dental Association’s “Mouth Healthy” Site Wins Bronze in 2012 Association TRENDS
PARK RIDGE, IL – November 30, 2012 – Americaneagle.com received a bronze in the Website category in the 2012 Association TRENDS All-Media Contest for its work on MouthHealthy.org, the consumer-facing site of the American Dental Association (ADA).
Over 35 years running, the Association TRENDS All-Media Contest is the oldest competition for associations to showcase their communications efforts. Associations are judged on the quality, appearance and content of their publications, including trade magazines, journals, annual reports, promotional items, media/advertising kits, newsletters, educational/informational/public service announcements, websites, integrated social media efforts, convention/trade show/meetings materials and membership directories, among others. New this year was a career rcareer resource category.

MouthHealthy.org offers consumers, from infants to older adults, a variety of discovery tools to better understand how to prevent, diagnose, and treat common dental issues. From an interactive Dental Symptom Checker to Fact or Ficton quizzes, Mouth Healthy conveys the educational goals of the ADA in a fun and engaging interface. In addition to these functionalities, the project also entailed an implementation of the Sitecore CMS, an industry leading content management system.
