This is the famous line from the HGTV hit-show 'Fixer Upper.' If you’re unfamiliar with this show, it’s a wildly popular series featuring renovation, design, and real estate pros Chip and Joanna Gaines. 'Fixer Upper' chronicles the journey of a person or family purchasing a home that needs major renovations. The viewer watches intently throughout the process to see what it takes to transform the property from unappealing to charming. The show has become a phenomenon over the last several years and undoubtedly inspired millions of viewers to renovate their own homes.
As a marketer working for a large digital agency, I often think about the parallels between shows like this and the world of the Web.
