IRCE 2019: A Recap of one of the biggest shows in the Ecommerce industry

The Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition has been carrying a lot of weight in the tech industry since the first show back in 2005. Today, it’s seen as a can’t-miss event and a central hub for the who’s who in ecommerce retail to convene. This year the conversations were different and a big topic of interest amongst attendees was Salesforce. Americaneagle.com has been having these conversations internally for quite some time, but we are now starting to see that many folks we are engaging with are inquiring about the powerful CRM as well.

As always, Americaneagle.com had a major presence at the event and our mission this year was all about taking away the stress of managing your own website by letting the experts do it for you. Since we were founded about 25 years ago, the company has been built on the idea of forming long-term partnerships with our clients. We came to the show with collateral and conversations that were not just directed at redesigning, re-platforming, or taking on any major projects for attendees’ websites. Instead, we had a different philosophy: let us look at your site from a holistic perspective, get an understanding of how your business functions and where you plan to be in the next 5 years and then make data driven recommendations from there.

We had many conversations at the show that focused on smaller offerings such as Conversion Optimization or Digital Marketing initiatives to achieve organizational goals. As a company, we have also focused on making new points of entry for our clients so that we can help with one aspect of the website, show their proven results and then branch off into other areas of the site from there as needed.

While the show itself is always a great experience, the fun heats up after hours when the partner events begin. We have a vast network of over 150+ amazing partners and these events give us the opportunity to connect with people from the industry and collaborate on new ways to work together. Chicago has some amazing bars and restaurants, and it’s always great to connect with clients outside of that work environment to show them what makes our city so special.

We had such a great time at IRCE 2019 that we’re already planning for the next one. We’ll see you next year from June 9th through 11th in 2020!
