Americaneagle.com client FASTSIGNS, an international signage company, has won an Outstanding Website Award in the 2016 WebAwards.
The Americaneagle.com team created the FASTSIGNS website platform using the Progress Sitefinity Content Management System, which has been scaled to manage over 600 websites in total, across an international footprint. Each FASTSIGNS local center, which is a locally owned franchise, has been empowered to manage content which is unique to their location specific website on the platform, while still providing FASTSIGNS corporate teams with total ability to maintain umbrella control, with content management and dissemination across all sites.
The FASTSIGNS website boasts impressive multi-site functionality; with a scalable architecture and simplified abilities to create additional websites. Platform wide functionality includes: a robust geo-locator tool which auto detects the nearest FASTSIGNS locations to a user, an advanced search and content filtering experience powered by Hawk Search, a quote form engine, video streaming and the ability for customers to create their own ‘IDEABOOKS’, where they can compile ideas and designs they like by simply filtering or browsing through the thousands of visual examples and past projects within the FASTSIGNS website.
We’re very proud to have worked with the team at FASTSIGNS to create a website that is impressive enough to be considered ‘Outstanding’ in the WebAwards Competition. The multi-site platform we built for the fast growing global franchise organization allows for expansion and new site creation from a single content management system, and includes many state of the art features and functionalities. We look forward to continuing to fulfill and exceed the expectations of FASTSIGNS.” Said Mike Svanascini, President of Americaneagle.com.
“We’re honored to be recognized by the Web Marketing Association”, said Drue Townsend, Senior Vice President of Marketing for FASTSIGNS International, Inc. “Our website is an important part of our customer experience. Our redesign has improved user engagement as visitors are spending more time on the site and viewing more content pages. They are creating their own IDEABOOK collections from the sign photos on the site and are getting ideas and inspiration for their own visual graphics by visiting our newsroom, where they can read our blog and see our social media feeds.”
The year 2016 marked the 20th annual International WebAward Competition. The WebAwards are judged by industry leaders and run by the Web Marketing Association (WMA).
