Des Plaines, IL, June 7, 2013 – The 2013 Interactive Media Award winners were recently announced by the Interactive Media Council and Americaneagle.com was awarded with an "Outstanding Achievement Award" in the Blog category for the Performics blog. Nominations for the Interactive Media Awards are accepted from around the world from web design companies, corporate marketing departments, and advertising agencies as well as individual web designers and graphic artists, among others.
The judges evaluate websites based on five different criteria: Design, Content, Feature Functionality, Usability and Standards Compliance. In order to win an IMA, the nominated website must excel in all areas of judging criteria while at the same time representing the highest standard of planning, execution, and overall professionalism.
The Interactive Media Award judges are distinguished professionals and members of the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization committed to elevating the standards of excellence on the Internet. Judges are leaders in advertising, public relations, publishing, web design, news and other industries. They are considered experts in such areas as communications, user interface, and marketing.
Americaneagle.com President Mike Svanascini said, "We here at Americaneagle.com are proud to have won this award as thousands of entries from the US and internationally were nominated and the IMA is an organization that is truly dedicated to recognizing the highest standards of online work. We could not have done it without the experts from Performics as they conveyed their business goals and what they wanted in their website initiative, and we’re proud to call them a client."
