Des Plaines, IL, May 17, 2013 – The 2013 Interactive Media Award winners were recently announced by the Interactive Media Council and Americaneagle.com was awarded "Best in Class" in the Banking category for the Nodaway Valley Bank website (www.nvb.com).
Nominations for the Interactive Media Awards are accepted from all over the world from web design companies, advertising agencies and corporate marketing departments, as well as individual web designers and graphic artists, among others.
The judges evaluate websites based on five different criteria: Design, Content, Feature Functionality, Usability and Standards Compliance. In order to win an IMA, the nominated website must excel in each criterion, rise above the competition, and deserve to be a top choice in the chosen target market. The Interactive Media Award judges are distinguished professionals and members of the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to elevating the standards of excellence on the Internet. Judges are leaders in web design, advertising, public relations, publishing, news and other industries. They are considered experts in such areas as user interface design, communications and marketing.
Americaneagle.com President Mike Svanascini said, "We here at Americaneagle.com are very proud to have achieved this result as thousands of entries from the US and around the world were nominated and the IMA is an organization that is truly dedicated to recognizing online excellence. We could not have done it without the professionals from Nodaway Valley Bank as they were well-versed in conveying what they wanted in their website initiative, and we’re proud to call them a client."
