The Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards are produced by the Web Marketing Association to honor excellence in online advertising, recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and showcase the best in award winning digital production. The Web Marketing Association's expert judges selected the project based on seven criteria: creativity, innovation, design, copywriting, use of medium, memorability, and impact.
Capstone is a leading publisher of children’s books in nonfiction and fiction, digital products and services, and literacy programs, selling directly to schools, libraries, retail trade, and through distribution channels. In their first venture selling directly to consumers, they partnered with Americaneagle.com to create a robust ecommerce store that offers a wide selection for toddlers to teens. It includes everything from board and picture books, to early readers and chapter books, engaging nonfiction, drawing and how-to books, and graphic novels.
The site features the idev® Ecommerce and idev® CMS platform, allowing administrators to manage inventory and orders, update content, offer promotions, and more. The re-imagined navigation facilitates quick discovery of products, whether viewing by age-appropriateness, subject, best-sellers, characters, authors, and more.
"Capstone Young Readers had a tremendous first season. We’re thrilled to celebrate our growth with the launch of a fresh new website that integrates seamlessly with our social media efforts and we’re honored to be recognized by advertising design and technology experts with this prestigious award," said Ashley Andersen Zantop, Capstone Group Publisher and General Manager. "Our new site delivers up-to-the-minute information for readers about our titles, promotions, events, authors, media and more."
