PARK RIDGE, IL — February 15, 2013 – Americaneagle.com, a leading Web design, development, and hosting company based in Park Ridge, Illinois, today announced that it has been awarded Outstanding Achievement by the Interactive Media Awards™ for its work on the OrangeBowl.org website. The honor recognizes that the project met and surpassed the high standards of excellence that comprise the web’s most professional work. The site was honored specifically for excellence in Nonprofits.
The OrangeBowl.org website is the online face for the Orange Bowl Committee, a non-profit sports organization that serves the South Florida community. Best known for hosting the annual Discover Orange Bowl and the 2013 Discover BCS National Championship game, the Orange Bowl Committee needed a website that conveyed information about the games, its organization, other events it hosts and extensive community outreach, all in a neatly organized manner.
"We are proud that it was our Orange Bowl web site that Americaneagle.com was honored for," said Michael Saks, COO of the Orange Bowl Committee. "Our online and social media presence is very important to use as a vehicle to provide information for our patrons and guests. It also enables us to tell the story of Orange Bowl’s role in South Florida as a driver of economic impact and community outreach. We appreciate what Americaneagle.com has done to help us in that quest."
