The new Web site, built on the Americaneagle.com idev® e-commerce platform, includes many custom features, which align the site with the Web 2.0 shopping experience – When browsing, AJAX is used within interior product pages, letting customers quickly view all the different popcorn flavor options. When ready to make a purchase, customers can schedule delivery dates through an interactive calendar that immediately shows shipping charges for the selected date. If not ready to check out, customers can choose to save, print, or email their shopping cart for easy future reference. Moreover, Americaneagle.com created a custom one-page check-out system, designed exclusively for Dale and Thomas’ free popcorn marketing campaign.
