A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of attending the Real Magnet User Group in Washington DC at the Marriott Wardman Park. The 2-day event was chock full of the latest in email marketing trends, design tips and tricks, and hands-on user training for those of us looking to pick up new skills and ways to use Real Magnet.

This was the first time we have attended this event in any capacity. While Real Magnet is a valued partner of ours, our attendance this year was to absorb as much as we can in rolling out the solution for our own marketing automation programs. The event provided space to learn and discuss everything associated with email and marketing automation. It was broken out into 3 different tracks: a Real Magnet track dedicated to what is new and exciting with the product, a Marketing Track focused on industry trends and ideas for customers’ marketing plans, and a Training track with live walk-throughs of processes and tools within Real Magnet.

Our biggest takeaway was the ever-changing landscape in regards to email design and the cool new tools and advancements coming to the market. Did you know that you can embed GIFs into emails? Or create running countdown clocks when promoting an event? The possibilities are going to be endless!

We enjoyed our time at RMUG 2017 and left with a trove of ideas and skills to use for ourselves. Interested in a marketing automation tool? We recommend Real Magnet on your list of possibilities.
