The SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show is one of the most well-known and respected trade events for automotive specialty products in the world, and this year, Americaneagle.com is proud to be a first-time exhibitor.
The show will take place November 1-4, 2016, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event will provide an opportunity to listen to educational seminars, meet international and domestic industry leaders, and view product demonstrations.
Amercaneagle.com team members Joe Gustafson and Jenn DeLorenzo will attend the event. To get a better idea of the show, I spoke with Joe, who has an unmistakable passion for cars and motorcycles, and asked him a bit more about our plans for SEMA.
What are we looking to get out of the show?
The auto industry can be very conservative in terms of technology, but for a lot of auto merchants there is so much more they could be doing to increase conversion rate and promote their products and services online. We are hoping to demonstrate that it’s possible to improve your business online without spending a vast amount of money, and that return on investment is key.
It will also be great to talk to industry leaders about cutting edge technology we are working on, including everything from user design (UX) to mobile ticketing. We’ve worked with numerous leading ecommerce clients in the auto industry, including Weathertech, S&S Cycle and Bestop who can testify to the success of our services.
Why are you excited about this show?
As everyone knows, I love cars, and at the moment, the industry is a cross roads where it can’t ignore technology any longer. Never before have auto companies had to serve customers who may have both a 1930s classic and a modern electric car in their garage – we can help companies get noticed by, appeal to, and service more customers. I’m looking forward to sharing with industry leaders our ideas and detailing why Americaneagle.com is the best partner for website design, development, hosting, and other online services.
As the industry has become more regulated, modern auto companies now also need to be able to connect so many pieces of technology. EPA regulations, for example, now effect aftermarket product providers. We can help auto industry specialists connect their backend systems to aid workflow, product development, and efficiency.
The team will be exhibiting at SEMA for the full 4 days, at booth #52337 in Performance Pavilion. We hope you’ll take the time to greet our team!
