Cvent CONNECT 2019 was certainly one for the record books. The conference, hosted by leading cloud-based enterprise event management platform, Cvent, brought over 4000 meetings, events, and hospitality professionals to Las Vegas to make connections and witness cutting-edge innovations happening the industry.
As a trusted Cvent integration partner, Americaneagle.com was thrilled to attend the event and get the chance to meet with current and potential clients on the tradeshow floor. While it’s hard to sum up the whirlwind of experiences we had at Cvent Connect 2019, here are our top 3 moments:
1. Celebrating Cvent Success
Implementing the Cvent event management tool has resulted in success for several organizations, including one of our own clients, The University of Missouri Extension. The institution’s Director of Enterprise Program Management, Kyle Flinn and the Director of MU’s Conference Office, Jewel Coffman hosted a session showcasing how the Cvent platform and Americaneagle.com’s implementation services created a seamless experience for customers to search, register, and access continuing education programs. The session really got people talking and resulted in a number of non-profits and higher education institutions inquiring about how the platform could also generate success for them.
2. New Tech Trends
Innovation was a major theme at this year’s Cvent CONNECT and an array of new technologies for event planners were on display. In a session titled ‘Future of Event Tech,’ industry leaders discussed how upcoming technology like artificial intelligence and facial recognition software could be implemented at major events. Virtual reality was also played a major part in the conference and it’s already being implemented at some tradeshows. With VR, soon the idea of having to pick and choose between multiple sessions to attend or even traveling to an event in the first place could be a thing of the past!
3. Making Connections
Of course, we can’t forget about all of the conversations we had on the tradeshow floor and beyond. Our booth had an almost non-stop flow of guests discussing their organization’s digital goals and we offered up some insights and solutions. Americaneagle.com has over 20 years of experience providing integration services for platforms like Cvent and we enjoyed discussing how our services can work for multiple different industries and objectives. Connecting with current and potential clients is always a fun treat at events like these and the backdrop of Las Vegas certainly provided some entertaining networking opportunities.
