Situation: Misericordia was very concerned about designing a Web site that would project a respectful and accurate image of their organization. They needed a site that would explain their organization in a sensitive way to the public, focusing primarily on their residents.
Objective: To provide a professional, sensitive, and functional site for parents and associates of Misericordia.
Solution: Americaneagle.com designed a Web site that conveys a sense of pride and dignity by carefully choosing graphics, text, and layouts appropriate for Misericordia’s image. We added functionality to the Web site by designing buttons for job opportunities, newsletters, upcoming events, general information, and information concerning donations and corporate sponsorship. We also created a button entitled “Our Residents At Work For You,” which aids Misericordia in sending a general profile of their residents to prospective employers.
Impact Results: Misericordia was very pleased by the way Americaneagle.com was able to provide a Web site that accurately and sensitively represents their organization. Additionally, the number of hits on their Web site increased beyond their expectations. They stated that “the response to the Web site you designed for us has far exceeded our expectations. The number of visitors to the site per day exceeds the total we received monthly with our previous Web site. Your expertise in design and programming is helping us tell the Misericordia story to thousands of new friends.”
