Situation: Kimco Distributing came to Americaneagle.com in the middle of a bad experience with another development company. In the web development industry, there are numerous instances where a competing company does not properly scope out the amount and/or complexity of the work involved in building the front and back end of a customized e-commerce store containing thousands of products. They may promise the customer everything up front, but once they begin working on constructing a site of this magnitude, they simply cannot deliver what they promised. It's not that these aforementioned companies are purposely doing this - they just don't have the wide range of experience and/or technical knowledge necessary to build a site that is flexible, user-friendly, client-friendly, and custom-built. Kimco Distributing found this out the hard way and was in desperate need of a company with the experience of Americaneagle.com.

Objective: To create a flexible, user-friendly, client-friendly, and custom-built e-commerce system that could easily be updated by Kimco staff.

Solution: Americaneagle.com developed a robust e-commerce site that categorizes the many products sold by Kimco in an efficient manner while allowing the customer to find what they are looking for quickly and easily. At all times, the Web site was designed to properly convey the professionalism associated with Kimco Distributing. Americaneagle.com also designed a content management tool that allows Kimco staff to easily update the site at any time.

Impact Results: Kimco Distributing's Kris Evans summed it up best in an email to us after the launch of the new Kimco site: "After an extremely bad experience with a so called ‘competitor’ of yours, we were thinking the worst.
