Testimonials
"The Blackhawks couldn't be happier with the re-designed site we launched in May 2005 and our experience over the past four years with Americaneagle.com. My favorite part about working with the AE staff is their attitude and ability to produce whatever new feature we request. 'We can definitely do this for you' is the most common response I get from Americaneagle.com, and usually they'll have a mock-up done within a few days. I've recommended Americaneagle.com to several professional sports teams and will continue to recommend them to anyone who asks."

National Hot Rod Association Hires Americaneagle.com to Relaunch NHRA.com

GLENDORA, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2008) — NHRA, the world’s quickest and fastest motorsport, has hired industry leader Americaneagle.com to complete a wall-to-wall renovation of NHRA.com that will transform it into one of the premier fan destination sites on the Web. In addition to enhancing the interface of NHRA.com’s traditional mix of news and critical race-related data, Americaneagle.com will be charged with the task of devising efficient and innovative strategies for incorporating essential New Media touchpoints, such as e-commerce, streaming video and mobile platforms.

“Our goal is to reinvent the current site from a news posting site to a dynamic and interactive fan destination site,” said Gary Darcy, NHRA’s senior vice president, sales & marketing. “The fan satisfaction at our races is second to none in sports so what we are intent on building, in effect, is a virtual NHRA experience, to give fans around the country and the world 24-7 access from their desktop.”

This is just the latest in a series of strategic initiatives announced this year by NHRA, which has most notably entered into a partnership with global sports and entertainment firm IMG, in addition to extending its title rights deal with the Coca-Cola Company by two years, from 2011 to 2013. The Coca-Cola extension is part of an initiative to rebrand NHRA’s professional Series from POWERade to Full Throttle beginning in 2009.

Americaneagle.com, which has designed websites for a number of NFL teams and clients with similar profiles to NHRA such as the Big West Conference and Big Ten Network, will work alongside the current sales & marketing team at NHRA, led by Darcy, to jointly conceptualize strategies to monetize the site.

“We are looking forward to working with a sports and entertainment company with so much growth potential,” said Mike Svanascini, Americaneagle.com president. “With our experience in this arena, we are confident that we can create a site that will elevate NHRA’s marketability significantly.”

Other areas of concentration for Americaneagle.com’s team will be fantasy gaming and social networking, and aligning all of the 29 domains NHRA owns to match the new look on NHRA.com.

NHRA is targeting the opening of the 2009 season, which kicks off with the Feb. 5-8 NHRA Winternationals, for the re-launch.
