Houston Texans Recognized for Online Excellence


 

PARK RIDGE, ll., October 27, 2008 – Americaneagle.com, a leading Web site design, development, and hosting company based in Park Ridge, IL today announced that HoustonTexans.com was chosen as a Silver Award Winning Web site by the W3 Awards committee. The site was chosen as the winner in three separate categories for “Sports” Web site, “Best Video or Motion Graphics” and “Best Visual Appeal.”

The W3 Awards is a major Web competition sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of Visual Arts and sponsored by Advertising Age. The awards competition honors creative excellence on the Web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning Web sites, Web Video and Online Marketing programs. Out of more than 3,000 companies worldwide that submitted entries, the panel of judges recognizes sites based on high standards of excellence. Judges include executives from organizations such as Alloy, BRANDWEEK, Coach, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, HBO, iNDELIBLE, Monster.com, MTV, Yahoo!, and many others.

HoustonTexans.com was honored with a W3 Silver award following a major overhaul of design and functionality with the assistance of Americaneagle.com.
